Word of the Day: God’s

DIVINE PROTECTION

Psalm 91:1–2 (NIV)

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”

Every new day is a gift from God, and every step we take is covered by His loving care. The protection of God is not merely the absence of danger it is the presence of the Almighty with His children. No matter what challenges, uncertainties, or battles we may face, we can walk in confidence knowing that the Lord goes before us, walks beside us, and watches over us.

God’s protection does not mean we will never encounter trials, but it does mean that He will never abandon us. He is our refuge in times of trouble, our shield in moments of fear, and our fortress when the enemy seeks to discourage us. When we place our trust in Him, we are covered by His grace, guided by His wisdom, and strengthened by His power.

Jesus reminds us that our Heavenly Father deeply cares for His children. Nothing happens outside His knowledge, and nothing is too difficult for Him to handle. As we surrender our lives to Christ each day, we can rest in the assurance that His angels watch over us according to His will, and His faithful promises remain true.

Today, choose faith over fear. Walk boldly, pray continually, and trust completely. The God who protected Daniel in the lions’ den, the three Hebrew men in the fiery furnace, and the disciples through countless storms is the same God who watches over you today. His protection surrounds those who belong to Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for being our refuge, fortress, and shield. Thank You for watching over us and our families. Cover us with Your mighty hand, protect us from every danger, guide our steps, and fill our hearts with peace instead of fear. Help us to trust You completely, knowing that You are always with us. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Declaration:

The Lord is my refuge and my fortress. I will not fear, for God is with me. His protection surrounds me today and always. I walk in faith, confidence, and victory through Jesus Christ. Amen.”🙏🏾
